Indonesian Birch
CFP has Asian products available in many
port locations around the U.S.
Many of the veneers for the fancy Asian plywood species, including Birch, are sourced
from North America. These veneers are routinely imported in log form and sliced
at the Asian mill.
Product Properties
The mills can typically produce products that range in thickness from 2.7mm to 18mm
and in sizes 4'x6' up to 4'x10'. Many mills also produce plywood utilizing core
veneers, lumber core, MDF and PBC.
Birch panels are produced in a variety of face thicknesses. They can range from
a 1/100" thickness all the way up to 1/42", depending on your specific needs.
Grading Standards
Panels are graded to IWPA Grading Standards. For a complete copy of the IWPA Import
